Croatia Needs to Immediately Implement Ten EU Measures

The European Initiative 21, which explains the framework within which European tourism will develop, could also be utilized in Croatia and result in higher tourism revenue as early as next year.

The 2011 season will be difficult. This is the unanimous assessment of domestic tourism professionals, and there are many reasons for it. Various indicators – from the fact that the global economy has not yet recovered, and partly has not emerged from the crisis, to the expectation that many competing countries will act more aggressively in the market hoping to cover the deficits from previous seasons, as well as the new efforts of the European Union to reverse the trend of losing market share globally and retain tourists within its borders – are all negative in some way.
