Podravka Stock Up Four Percent

Today, trading on the Zagreb Stock Exchange is somewhat livelier than in previous days, and most of the most liquid issues are in profit, with the Podravka stock standing out due to a price jump of over 4 percent.

The Crobex index was up 0.78 percent at 12:00 PM, at 1,887 points. Crobex10 rose 1.05 percent, to 1,000 points. Regular trading in shares reached 8 million kuna, što is approximately two million more than yesterday at this time. „Under the influence of expectations for the announcement of business results of domestic companies for the third quarter in the coming days, it seems that the atmosphere in the domestic market is improving. Trading volumes are nešto higher than in previous days, and the indices are recording significant gains“, says Roman Rinkovec, broker and investment advisor at the investment company Credos.

Among the more liquid issues, Atlantic Group and KonĨar Elektroindustrija have announced the release of financial reports for tomorrow. The highest turnover so far has been achieved by HT shares, amounting to 1.6 million kuna. Its price is stagnating at 269.25 kuna. The privileged shares of Adrisa also made it into the millionaires’ club, with a turnover of 1.5 million kuna. It increased by 1.44 percent, to 274 kuna. Among the less liquid issues, there are almost no losers. The largest price increase is recorded by Podravka shares, up 4.14 percent, to 292 kuna. The price of Atlantska Plovidba shares also significantly increased, by 2.5 percent, to 800 kuna. On European exchanges, stock prices are currently in modest positive territory, following slight losses this morning, and investors are cautious ahead of the announcement of a new series of company results. The Paris CAC, London FTSE, and Frankfurt DAX are currently up between 0.2 and 0.5 percent. American futures indices, on the other hand, indicate a negative start to trading on Wall Street. (H)
