Končar Distributive and Special Transformers (D&ST) achieved a net profit of 25.9 million kuna in the first nine months of this year, which is an increase of 1.6 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the unaudited financial report published by the company on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The company’s total revenues amounted to 561.7 million kuna, an increase of 5.6 percent. Operating revenues recorded a growth of seven percent, reaching 557.1 million kuna, with the majority of operating revenues coming from sales. Sales revenues increased by 6.6 percent, to 556.17 million kuna. The company notes that exports increased by 8.5 percent to 470 million kuna, accounting for 84.5 percent of sales revenues. Total expenses for the company in the first nine months of this year amounted to 529.38 million kuna, an increase of 5.9 percent compared to the same period last year. The explanation of business results indicates that liquidity indicators improved in 2010 compared to the same period last year, and overall liquidity is good. Investment activities in 2010 will be marked by the preparation, i.e., the development of project documentation for the construction of a new high-voltage laboratory for testing energy transformers, with additional production and storage spaces. This project will mark the next two years in terms of investments, the company’s report states. (H)
