Twelve Podravka Firefighters Transition to JVP Koprivnica

With the continuation of the project to separate non-core business from the Podravka system, a contract was signed today in Koprivnica between Podravka and the City of Koprivnica, under which 12 employees from Podravka’s fire protection will transition to the public fire brigade of Koprivnica as of November 1, with a special agreement on the transfer of workers to be concluded.

After the announced tender and specified conditions for performing fire duty at Podravka’s facilities, the most favorable bidder for the mentioned service was the public fire brigade of the City of Koprivnica. The five-year contract for providing fire duty services and preventive-operational tasks was signed by Podravka’s CEO Miroslav Vitković, the mayor of Koprivnica Zvonimir Mršić, and the commander of the public fire brigade of Koprivnica Slavko Tucaković. – This is just one in a series of projects initiated in collaboration between Podravka and the City of Koprivnica. Our goal is primarily to increase operational efficiency, so we will continue our cooperation on other projects, said Podravka’s CEO Miroslav Vitković during the contract signing.

– Podravka, having met the legal requirements in the field of fire protection and firefighting, decided to separate fire duty tasks at five locations in the city of Koprivnica. With this solution, twelve Podravka employees will find their place in the public city fire brigade, whose professionalism, mobility, and operational capability are unquestionable, said Mayor Mršić. It was concluded that Podravka and the City of Koprivnica, through joint action in the public interest, will raise the quality of service in fire protection prevention to a higher level while simultaneously reducing overall operational costs.
