Representatives of the Railways of the Federation of BiH on Thursday expressed their readiness to join the alliance during a meeting with representatives of the Cargo 10 alliance, as reported by Croatian Railways.
This initiative must go through the decision-making procedure established by the relevant ministry of the Bosnian entity of the Federation of BiH, which will be implemented in accordance with the decisions of the Cargo 10 Assembly. By unanimous decision of the signatories of the basic Agreement on Joint Cooperation and Participation in the Transport Market from Opatija, and based on the conclusion from the meeting held in Zagreb on September 14, 2010, the members accepted the accession of the Macedonian Railways to the basic Agreement, thereby making the Macedonian Railways a member of the Cargo 10 Alliance. An annex to the Agreement on Joint Cooperation and Participation in the Transport Market was also signed in Sarajevo, confirming the entry of the Macedonian Railways into the Cargo 10 Alliance, the statement concludes.
