Pevec could end 2011 with 700 million kuna in revenue

In the business year 2011, Pevec in bankruptcy could end with a revenue of 700 million kuna and a profit of 26 million kuna. This calculation was presented to us by Pevec’s bankruptcy administrator Darko Šket after the opening of the eleventh Pevec sales center, located in Zagreb’s Žitnjak.

The mentioned calculation is based on the continuous operation of all 11 centers in 2011. In seven months, since Pevec’s centers gradually reopened, this retail chain achieved a revenue of 250 million kuna and a profit of 1.5 million kuna. Further operations will, of course, depend on whether creditors will accept the bankruptcy plan, which is expected to be finalized in almost a month. (A. K.)
