Only through the implementation of structural reforms, improving the investment climate, and increasing the competitiveness of the economy can we create the foundations for its sustainable growth and raise the overall level of prosperity. Otherwise, we can expect years of lukewarm growth, almost stagnation. The string of scandals regarding extortion at the state top shows that the ruling party no longer governs like a well-tuned orchestra, but more like beginners who are just learning to play each on their own string. However, there is one thing in which they are still united like trained marines. When anyone from the Government presents a new decision, program, or indicators related to some future period, they carefully avoid the word ‘planning’ as if it were contagious.
