Cheese and cream remain at Zagreb markets

Cheese and cream will continue to be sold at Zagreb markets. This was confirmed by Mayor Milan Bandić, who visited the vendors at Dolac this morning.

The markets have filed an appeal against the sales ban, and today a postponement of the decision, which is valid for ninety days, should come into effect. The mayor stated that those responsible will be held accountable for the shortcomings, and in the meantime, the markets will urgently procure 37 refrigerators. I will not go back too much into the history of this. The new head of the Markets branch will resolve the issue of who is responsible for not having done what needed to be done since November of last year. I can only thank the relevant ministry and Minister Milinović for their understanding, said Bandić. (www.hrt.hr)
