On Friday, October 1st, the first independent festival of creative communications, the Day of Judgment, will take place in the Chinese Pavilion at the Zagreb Fair.
The festival prioritizes individuals who are creators of successful ideas and aims to motivate and inspire them for new works. Its specificity is also a large jury of 200 recognized creatives who vote via an online platform, thus rewarding the best in their field. According to the organizers of the Day of Judgment, Branimir Lazanja, Mare Pitarević, and Alan Bahorić, the first Day of Judgment has already broken many records in the domestic creative industry. – We have received the largest number of applications to date (1027), of which we have included 433 works in the official competition across 24 categories.
However, what makes the Day of Judgment special is the 205 jury members and the award categories in which we do not only reward creatives from advertising but also directors, photographers, and musicians, making the Day of Judgment the largest gathering of creatives in one place – emphasized Branimir Lazanja at the press conference held on Tuesday at Kino Europa. The award ceremony for the Day of Judgment will be hosted by Ivanka Mazurkijević, with the assistance of several DJs, and recognized individuals representing each category will present awards in 24 categories, not only those related to advertising but also all inseparably related activities such as design, photography, directing, acting, music composition, animation, etc. (S.B.)
