The beginning of the week on the Zagreb Stock Exchange is marked by modest liquidity and a slight increase in the Crobex, primarily influenced by positive signals from global stock markets, with Petrokemija’s stock standing out in terms of gains.
The Crobex index was up 0.36 percent at 12:00 PM, reaching 1,912 points. At the same time, Crobex10 strengthened by 0.33 percent, reaching 1,005 points. The regular trading volume in stocks exceeded three million kuna, which was about one million kuna higher than on Friday at the same time. "The beginning of the week on the domestic market is characterized by modest trading volumes and a slight increase in the index, primarily influenced by positive movements in global stock markets," says Davor Špoljar, an analyst at the investment company Erste Securities. Currently, the London FTSE index, Frankfurt DAX, and Paris CAC are slightly up on European exchanges, thanks to positive investor sentiment following strong gains on Wall Street on Friday. American futures indices currently indicate a continuation of rising stock prices today on Wall Street. By noon, no stock had achieved a million kuna in trading volume.
