HPB Plans to Cut Interest Rates on Loans for Pensioners by Half a Percent

From Hrvatska poštanska banka, we learn that the bank intends to reduce interest rates on loans for the population starting October 1 of this year. Particularly good news for all users of loans from this bank is that the reduction in interest rates applies not only to new loans but also to existing ones.

For example, interest rates on non-purpose cash loans for pensioners are being reduced by half a percent, so instead of the previous 8.99 percent, it will be 8.49. The loan, they say at the bank, can be taken in kuna equivalent from 400 to 6,200 euros with a repayment period of one to four years. In addition to more favorable loans for pensioners, the bank offers a range of other interesting products, among which they highlight exceptionally favorable savings in kuna (with interest rates from 4.5 to six percent, depending on the term of the deposit) and attractive annuity savings.  Hrvatska poštanska banka also notes that a current account for pensioners can be opened not only at the bank’s branches but also at all offices of Hrvatska pošta. They remind that they are the only Croatian bank that pays pensions to its pensioners on the first day of the month.  (N. P.)
