The eighth business conference of IBM Croatia, which will be held this year in Split from October 5 to 7 under the slogan ‘Discover smarter solutions for a creative world’, is expected to gather around 450 domestic and foreign participants, it was announced at today’s IBM press conference.
During the two days of the conference, participants will be able to see the latest business solutions, services, and technology from IBM, as well as listen to lectures from domestic and foreign experts. The topics that will be most discussed at this year’s IBM Forum relate to how the application of smart products and services can create an intelligent ecosystem that can provide maximum value and flexibility in business and help create a more efficient infrastructure, more effective management, and cost reduction. Solutions of the so-called new intelligence and ‘business intelligence’ for better data storage and operations will also be discussed and presented, as well as the advantages of ‘green’ technologies, and there will be a round table on the topic ‘The relationship between technology and society’. IBM consultants will present the results of a global survey conducted by IBM this year, surveying more than 1,500 executives in 60 countries and 33 industries worldwide. This research, among other things, showed that executives believe creativity is the most important factor for business success in today’s world. (H)
