The average monthly net salary per employee in legal entities in Croatia paid for July this year amounted to 5,323 kuna, according to the first data released today by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS).
On a monthly basis, compared to the average net salary for June this year, which was 5,415 kuna, the average net salary for July was nominally lower by 1.7 percent or 92 kuna. A comparison of the average net salary data for July this year with the data for July last year shows that the net salary for the seventh month of this year was nominally higher by 0.3 percent or 15 kuna. The Croatian Bureau of Statistics notes that it will publish data on the impact of the special tax on the average monthly paid net salary per employee in legal entities for July this year in its regular salary announcement at the end of September. According to the first data from DZS, the average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities for July this year amounted to 7,608 kuna. Compared to the previous month, the average gross salary for July was lower by 155 kuna or nominally by 2 percent. On an annual basis, the average gross salary was nominally lower by 1.4 percent or 110 kuna. (H)
