Three Menus for Only One Hundred Kuna per Person

Zagreb has, following the example of other world metropolises, received a new cultural-gastronomic event that has all the predispositions to become traditional. Namely, from September 27 to October 3, 20 leading restaurants in Zagreb will offer three menus with three courses at the price of only one hundred kuna per person.

The organizers of the event do not hide that they ‘picked up’ the idea based on promotional actions in New York, Detroit, Atlanta, Paris, and London and adapted it to the Croatian market. ‘The optimism and actions of the organizers have easily defeated the skepticism of our habitual pessimists: telephone reservations are pouring in, the internet is buzzing with comments, print media and portals are welcoming the idea and realization, the number of members on Facebook is growing at a record pace, and all indicators suggest that the action is ‘destined for success’ and will turn into a traditional event,’ the organizers state. The significance of the event has been recognized not only by lovers of good food but also by the general sponsors of the action, American Express and the Zagreb Tourist Board.
