Riviere Poreč Stock Rises to 200 Kuna

After a negative correction at the end of last week, today the Crobex index on the Zagreb Stock Exchange has slightly increased, but with an exceptionally low trading volume, so by noon, no stock has achieved a million kuna turnover.

The Crobex index was up 0.38 percent at 12:00, at 1,903 points. At the same time, Crobex10 strengthened by 0.45 percent, to 1,001 points. Regular trading in stocks reached 2.5 million kuna, which is about 2 million less than on Friday at this time."Although trading volume on the domestic stock exchange is usually weaker on Mondays, today liquidity is really exceptionally low. As a result, no significant price movements are recorded. And given that there are no significant news to generate index growth, today’s slight increase in Crobex is likely a reaction after the negative correction on Friday", says Davor Špoljar, an analyst at the investment company Erste Securities.

The most liquid stock is HT, which has achieved a turnover of 907,000 kuna so far. Its price has weakened by 0.37 percent, to 267 kuna. The stock of Riviere Poreč stands out with larger price fluctuations, having increased by more than 14 percent, to 200 kuna, with a turnover of 130,000 kuna. There is also slightly more trading today in government bonds. Thus, the bond of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia marked 203 E traded 1.2 million kuna by noon, and the bond marked 15CA 117,000 kuna. Stock prices have also risen on European exchanges today as investors are more optimistic ahead of tomorrow’s meeting of the leaders of the U.S. Federal Reserve. The Frankfurt DAX, Paris CAC, and London Ftse indices are up between 0.7 and 1 percent. (H)
