Smart is rapidly working on a new concept plug-in electric scooter that will premiere at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
Although Smart has only released three sketches and not too many details to the public, it has been confirmed that the new electric scooter will use lithium-ion batteries, enabling a range of 96 kilometers on a single charge. The new concept will protect the rider with its specially adapted airbag. Although this is just a concept, Smart has stated that there is a possibility of a production version, provided they receive positive feedback from visitors at this year’s Paris Motor Show. The scooter is not the only surprise that Smart has in store for the show in Paris; at their booth, they will also showcase a beautified version of the popular Smart ForTwo city car. More details will be exclusively revealed for you at the Paris show. ( www.mojauto.net)
