Most Liquid Stocks of Adris and Zagrebačka Banka

Primarily due to positive movements in global markets, the Zagreb Stock Exchange today continued the rise of Crobex, which managed to break the resistance level of 1,890 points for the first time since the end of June.

The Crobex index was slightly up by 0.24 percent at 12:00 PM, at 1,892 points. It is now at its highest level since June 28, when it was at 1,922 points. At the same time, Crobex10 strengthened by 0.1 percent, to 997 points. The regular turnover of shares amounted to 9.8 million kuna, which is approximately 6 million kuna more than yesterday at this time. “There is somewhat livelier trading today in the domestic market, primarily due to the increased trading volume of shares of Adris and Zagrebačka Banka. Crobex managed to break the resistance level of 1,890 points, and given the positive movements in European markets, as well as the rise of American futures indices, it seems that the day will end with gains,” emphasizes Maja Bešević, portfolio manager at Podravska Banka.

Currently, the Frankfurt DAX, Paris CAC, and London Ftse indices are up between 0.5 and 0.8 percent in European markets. Investors expect new directions from today’s announcement of data on the U.S. trade balance with foreign countries and the number of Americans who lost their jobs last week, adds Bešević. In the domestic market, the most liquid was the preferred share of Adris, which achieved 4.5 million kuna. Its price strengthened by 1.1 percent, to 259.6 kuna. Following is the share of Zagrebačka Banka, with a turnover of 1.5 million kuna and a price jump of 1.9 percent, to 235 kuna, primarily influenced by the proposal of the Management and Supervisory Board for the General Assembly regarding the payment of a dividend of 18.9 kuna per share. The share of HT also made it among the millionaires, with its price strengthening by 0.3 percent, to 261 kuna. (H)
