On the Zagreb Stock Exchange today, negative price movements continued, primarily influenced by poor investor sentiment in European markets, and trading volume has also decreased.
The Crobex index was slightly down at 12:00 PM, by 0.27 percent, at 1,871 points, while Crobex10 weakened by 0.11 percent, at 988 points. The regular trading volume amounted to only 3.3 million kuna, što is approximately 7.5 million kuna less than yesterday at this time. "As soon as foreign markets are down, it is immediately the same on the domestic market. It is clear that the positive shift from the middle of last week was influenced by external movements and that it is now exhausted," emphasizes Roman Rinkovec, broker and investment advisor at the investment company Credos. The trading volume has also decreased again, with only 276 transactions completed by noon. "In recent days, there has been talk of improving liquidity, but when we analyze the volumes, it is noticeable that there were many negotiated transactions between large investors. Today, when there are fewer such transactions, the volume has also decreased," notes Rinkovec.
