The Stock Exchange assesses that it is still difficult to read investor sentiment from the trading overview for August.
“Indeed, a 20 percent decrease in regular trading of shares compared to the previous month is potentially concerning data, but if we take into account the traditionally quiet summer period and a total trading increase of 5.2 percent compared to July and a hundred percent increase compared to August last year, there may still be room for optimism,” it is emphasized in the commentary of the monthly stock report. It is also noted that regular daily trading in August fluctuated significantly, from 6.5 to nearly 30 million kuna.
Among the ten most traded shares in August was the share of Čakovečki mlinovi, which recorded the highest price increase of 15.2 percent, reaching 3,449 kuna. The trading volume of Čakovečki mlinovi shares amounted to 8.1 million kuna.
