Interior Minister Tomislav Karamarko stated that former Prime Minister Ivo Sanader will no longer be a protected person from Monday. Allegedly, from Monday, former President of the Republic Stjepan Mesić will also no longer be a protected person.
In response to a journalist’s question about whether it is true that the former Prime Minister arrived at the Austrian conference in Alpbach in an official car of the Ministry of the Interior, Karamarko stated for Hina that Ivo Sanader is still a protected person, but from Monday this will not be the case as it has been decided in recent days after an assessment by the security services.
