The Parliamentary Investigative Committee for the privatization of INA will hold a session on September 13 and 14, to which those responsible who were in the Government, Supervisory Board, and management of INA during the privatization have been invited.
They will provide testimony to clarify some ambiguities in the privatization or acquisition of the gas business, which could not be resolved through documentation available to the committee. The session begins on Monday, September 13, when testimonies are expected from those responsible during the period when 25 percent plus one share of INA was sold. Testimonies are expected from former Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of INA Slavko Linić, then Minister of Economy Ljubo Jurčić who was operationally involved in negotiations and the sales contract, and Tomislav Dragičević, long-time CEO of INA.
The following day, September 14, regarding the remaining part of the privatization, from 2003 to 2009, and the gas business, testimonies are expected from the current Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of INA Ivan Šuker. Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Damir Polančec, who was operationally involved in the amendment of contracts related to shareholders, then Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, and the current CEO of INA and member of the Supervisory Board Zoltan Aldott have also been invited.
