The Zagreb-based company Geofoto, a leading European firm in the field of geodesy and geoinformatics, has won a tender for the contract ‘Vectorization of the archive of cadastral plans and the creation of digital cadastral maps for 79 cadastral municipalities’ for the Macedonian Agency for Real Estate Cadastre, as stated in a press release.
This is a project lasting 4 months during which data services, simple 2D and advanced 3D visualizations, search functionalities, and the ability to input user data and documents will be established. Through this project, 3D models for 20 Macedonian cities will be created, and part of this data will be available to citizens on the corresponding web portal that will also be developed during the project. The portal will be based on the latest technologies that Geofoto’s experts typically use for their projects. In addition to the usual functionalities for viewing all relevant spatial data of the Republic of Macedonia, the portal will enable registered users to perform advanced analyses and data updates. (G.
