NASA Captured the ‘Eyes’ of Hurricanes

NASA has released a satellite image of the so-called eyes of hurricanes Danielle and Earl. Earl has intensified to a Category 4 and is strengthening on its way towards the eastern coast of the United States, reports hrt.hr. The American National Hurricane Center has warned coastal residents, from North Carolina to Maine, to be cautious of Earl in the coming days, as it has already caused flooding and power outages in low-lying coastal areas of the Caribbean islands.

It is expected to develop speeds of up to 215 kilometers per hour. Danielle, on the other hand, poses a threat to the eastern coast of the United States. It is expected to cause waves of up to three meters along the coasts of Newfoundland and Canada. The good news is that it will weaken to a tropical storm level in the next 48 hours. (hrt.hr)
