The new week has not brought anything new to the Zagreb Stock Exchange, so the leading indices, with low trading volume, are stagnating as there are no news that could significantly stimulate investors.
The Crobex index was slightly down by 0.2 percent at 12:00 PM, at 1,851 points, while Crobex10 weakened by 0.26 percent, at 984 points. The regular trading volume amounted to around 5.3 million kuna, što je otprilike pola milijuna kuna manje nego u petak u ovo doba. "After two positive days, today stock prices are moving mješovito, a indeksi su u blagom minusu. Dionice Adrisa i dalje su, primjerice, pod blagim pritiskom, dok su s druge strane cijene Konzuma i Čakovečkih mlinova osjetnije porasle. Slično je i na europskim burzama, gdje indeksi također stagniraju", kažu u investicijskom društvu Erste vrijednosni papiri.
The highest trading volume, 1.5 million kuna, was achieved by HT shares, which remained stable around the level of 257 kuna. Following is the share of Čakovečki Mlinovi, with a trading volume of around 550,000 kuna, and its price increased by 1.5 percent, to 3,450 kuna. Among the biggest gainers is Konzum’s stock, with a price increase of 3.7 percent, to 190 kuna, and a trading volume of around 460,000 kuna. On the other hand, Adris shares are under pressure. The price of the regular shares of that company fell by about 1.4 percent, while the preferred shares fell by 0.4 percent. The continuation of lethargy on the stock exchange is a result of the lack of good news from the domestic economy, and there are no encouraging signals from global markets either. On the exchanges in Frankfurt and Paris, the leading indices are balancing on the edge of positive and negative territory, while the London Stock Exchange is closed today due to the holiday. However, American futures indices indicate a rise in stock prices on Wall Street at the beginning of today’s trading. But, not significantly. (H)
