According to the British magazine The Guardian, Dubrovnik is the fourth most desirable off-season destination, announced today by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
In its online edition, The Guardian ranked Dubrovnik fourth among the 10 best places to catch some sun even in autumn. As journalist Nicola Iseard wrote, "autumn brings out the best in Dubrovnik, prices drop, there are no crowds, and it is still warm enough for swimming." Sardinia tops the list, followed by Andalusia and Cyprus, with Dubrovnik leaving behind the Egyptian town of Dahab, the Canary Islands, Kas in Turkey, Saint-Tropez, Rhodes, and Ile de Re in France.(H)
