HT Introduced a New Retail Concept

With the opening of the renovated T-Center HoTo on Savska Street, Hrvatski Telekom has embarked on building a new image. By combining a proactive approach to change and innovation in the market, HT aims to get closer to customers and set new standards in retail.

The telecommunications market is changing rapidly, and providing value beyond that of competitors is becoming a significant challenge for companies. HT is determined to be a trendsetter in the market through a proactive approach and innovations, offering customers devices and services that best suit their needs. The main goal of the renovation of T-Center HoTo, which was presented to the public today, is to provide customers with a place where they can find services that best meet their needs while exploring and having fun.

The layout of T-Center HoTo has not changed much, but the interactivity of the space, where users can browse the entire HT offer on multimedia touchscreen devices, listen to music, and watch videos, has significantly enriched the overall experience of visiting the store. HT’s intention is to offer open access in this center and remove barriers between the buyer and the seller. The store is divided into several areas for different services to enable visitors to navigate more easily and clearly. An innovative addition to the center is a touchscreen table, which can be used by several users simultaneously and contains the entire HT offer along with additional entertainment content. For visitors who cannot shop without music, there is a corner where they can listen to music similar to that in music stores. I was particularly impressed by the intimate corner, which allows visitors interested in home telephony to sit with sellers one-on-one in a separate booth. This experience is akin to visiting a personal banker and is yet another innovation in retail in the IT market. Johan Buse, a member of HT’s Management Board, stated that this store is just the first step on the journey, meaning that this center is just the first in a series of many. With this new retail concept, HT is setting new standards in the Croatian market.

In addition to the renovation of T-Center HoTo, HT has demonstrated its proactive approach by introducing a new tariff called i75 and presenting new devices in its offer. The i75 tariff is specifically designed for those who need to access email, social networks, and surf briefly on a daily basis. For a monthly fee of 75 HRK, it offers 125 MB of data traffic, 75 minutes of calls, and 25 SMS messages to all networks. HT also proves its innovative approach with the offer of the new smartphone Dell Streak, the first Dell device on the Croatian market that is exclusively offered by HT. The Dell Streak has features very similar to the iPhone but also a significantly larger screen, and it will surely find its user base. When asked when the iPhone will arrive in Croatia, Buse replied that it will be in the third quarter, which means we will not see it in the offer for several more months, but he announced that it will also be available exclusively at HT.
