Following the fanfare surrounding the first Croatian electric car, Dok-ing’s XD, and the euphoria it generated at the Geneva Motor Show, a strategic partner to invest in serious mass production is still not found.
According to Vjekoslav Majetić, the owner of Dok-ing and the conceptual creator of the electric vehicle, the search continues, and in the meantime, Dok-ing will independently embark on mass production from current revenues. – We expect to have the first series of about 30 cars by New Year. After redesign and the first series production, we will be able to more seriously start looking for a strategic partner – says Majetić. So far, possible investors mentioned include the Chinese and the French. Meanwhile, fires in Russia are increasing the demand for firefighting vehicles, which should contribute to improving results.
