INA today denied media speculation regarding the sale of INA’s building in Šubićeva Street and stated that it has not initiated any projects that would impact the number of employees, and before making any concrete decision regarding the initiation of such a project, discussions would be held with unions and employees.
"We clearly deny the speculation about the sale of INA’s building in Šubićeva Street – a location where numerous successful projects of INA’s oil and gas exploration and production segment were decided," INA stated in response to a large number of media reports. INA emphasizes that it is true that they are considering various restructuring options within the company to improve the company’s efficiency and to ensure that the company remains competitive in the market.
"As part of the efficiency improvement program, INA – unlike its competitors in the market – has not initiated projects that would impact the number of employees. Before making any concrete decisions related to such measures and the initiation of such a project, discussions would primarily be held with unions and employees, as important stakeholders of the company," INA emphasizes. INA also reiterates that around 50 experts from various countries of the MOL Group (mainly from Hungary and Slovakia) are employed at INA, which represents less than 0.5 percent of the total number of employees in the INA Group.
