Therefore, they unanimously decided to invite witnesses on September 13 at 11 a.m. These will be the main actors in this murky privatization story. Regarding the period of the first privatization that occurred during the Račan government, when 25% plus one share of INA was sold to MOL, Slavko Linić, Ljubo Jurčić, and the then CEO Tomislav Dragičević will testify before the committee. For the privatizations during the HDZ period from 2003 to 2009, when the Hungarian MOL managed to gain all management rights over INA with just 2% more shares, Ivan Šuker, Damir Polančec, current CEO Zoltan Aldot, and certainly the most interesting witness, Ivo Sanader, will testify. The law stipulates that all Croatian citizens must respond to testimony before the parliamentary investigative committee. The investigative committee tasked with establishing the facts regarding the privatization of INA is responsible for investigating all contracts under which INA may have sold its shares or acquired stakes in other companies, as well as the minutes from all committee meetings that have worked on the privatization of INA since 2002, amendments to the shareholders’ agreement, and contracts related to gas business.
