The average monthly net salary per employee in legal entities in Croatia paid for May this year amounted to 5,277 kuna, according to the first data released today by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS).
On a monthly basis, compared to the average net salary for April this year, which was 5,246 kuna, the average net salary for May was nominally higher by 0.6 percent or by 31 kuna. Year-on-year, compared to the net salary for May last year, which was 5,326 kuna, the average net salary for the fifth month of this year was lower by 49 kuna or nominally by 0.9 percent. According to the first data from DZS, the average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities for May this year amounted to 7,662 kuna. Compared to the previous month, the average gross salary for May is higher by 56 kuna or nominally by 0.7 percent, while year-on-year it is lower by 87 kuna or by 1.1 percent. (H)
