The Supervisory Board of Podravka today adopted a proposal for the election of new members, and instead of the previous 11, the number of members of the Supervisory Board will be reduced to nine.
According to the proposal, among the members of the Supervisory Board of the Koprivnica food industry will be three current representatives of the state – the president of the Supervisory Board Ljubo Jurčić, Karmen Antolić, and Miljenko Javorović, three will be representatives of pension funds – Petar Vlaić, Dinko Novoselec, and the current member of the Supervisory Board Dubravko Štimac. In the new composition of the Supervisory Board, there will also be Nikola Gregur (as a representative of small shareholders), Ksenija Horvat (as a representative of workers), and the new member as a representative of institutional investors will be Petar Miladin (from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb). The proposal for the members of the Supervisory Board will be decided by the General Assembly of Podravka shareholders, which, as it is learned, will be convened for August 31. At the assembly held at the end of March this year, shareholders were unable to agree on amendments to the company’s Statute regarding the number of members of the Supervisory Board, and the necessary number of votes was not obtained for the proposal of the Supervisory Board to reduce the number of members from 11 to 7, nor for the counter-proposal of 20.6 percent of shareholders to reduce the number to nine members.
