The poultry industry Cekin – Vindija from Plandište is the first in Serbia to align its production with the veterinary and sanitary regulations of the European Union and has received an export control number for the export of poultry meat and processed products to the markets of the European Union, as announced by Vindija from Varaždin.
The European Commission from Brussels and the relevant Serbian ministry’s commission – Veterinary Administration Belgrade, through the review of processes and documentation from farms to the meat industry in Plandište, issued a final decision at the end of June granting the export control number to the factory in Plandište in accordance with the applicable laws for exporting products to the European Union. Strict European quality standards have been achieved in the newly modernized facilities in Serbia in just one year, Vindija emphasizes.
The export control number as a quality guarantee enables the unhindered export of products to the European Union, and the poultry industry Cekin from Plandište is the first producer in poultry production in the Republic of Serbia to meet all the conditions for obtaining the export control number. The business system Vindija from Varaždin has owned the company for production and trade Vindija d.o.o. Lajkovac since the beginning of 2009. Within its framework, there are poultry broiler farms, a feed factory in Valjevo, a meat industry in Plandište, and new storage-distribution centers in Lajkovac and Niš with new specialized vehicles for the distribution of food products.
