Renowned fashion designer John Galliano presented his enchanting new haute couture collection for the fashion house Christian Dior at the Rodin Museum in Paris – the show was attended by Jessica Alba, Blake Lively, and Lily Cole, reports the portal Gloria.
Galliano was clearly inspired by the summer meadows of Dior’s native Normandy, and as this is an autumn collection, it is evident that flowers will not be going out of fashion anytime soon. The dresses resembled upside-down flowers, with layers of petals cascading over wide skirts. The show resembled a blooming wildflower meadow. The floral theme was emphasized by dramatically large, bright orange ‘parrot tulips’ – the symbol of the famous fashion house – which were positioned in the background. In keeping with the theme, the eccentric Galliano, with a straw hat on his head, looked like a glamorous gardener. Even the stars in the front row – such as Jessica Alba, Blake Lively, and Lily Cole – could not draw attention away from this dazzling display of colors. (www.gloria.com.hr)
