Following the contract for the production of the structure for the 420 kV Sima – Samnanger transmission line in Norway, the company Dalekovod has also secured a contract for the construction of the same transmission line through an international tender, as stated in a press release published on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The purpose of constructing the transmission line is to increase the reliability of electricity supply to consumers, which will particularly enhance the capacity for electricity transmission and the reliability of supply for consumers throughout the entire region based in Bergen. The value of the works amounts to more than 20 million euros. The planned start of works is in the spring of 2011, with completion expected in December 2012.
