The Executive Board of the Croatian Employers’ Association (HUP) has appointed Davor Majetić, the former Executive Director of Atento, as the new CEO of HUP, it was announced today by HUP.
Majetić will assume the position of CEO of HUP on September 15 of this year. The Assistant CEO will remain Bernard Jakelić, who held this position during the term of the previous CEO Đuro Popijač, and after Popijač’s departure to the position of Minister of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship, he served as the acting CEO.
Davor Majetić has spent the majority of his professional life at Microsoft Croatia, holding positions as CEO, Sales Director, and Marketing Manager responsible for international markets (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, and Albania). For the past two years, he has been the Executive Director of Atento. He is a recipient of the CROMA Managers’ Association award for Manager of the Year in the category for medium-sized companies in 2006 and the award for the best small business in Croatia in 2005.
