The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković is leading the Croatian delegation at the Intergovernmental Conference on Croatia’s accession to the European Union in Brussels, reports hrt.hr.
It is expected that Croatia will open the remaining three chapters at the conference – Competition, Justice and Fundamental Rights, and Foreign, Security and Defense Policy, and close two chapters – Public Procurement and Taxes. This would mean that Croatia has opened all 33 chapters under negotiation and 20 temporarily closed chapters. After the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain Miguel Angel Moratinos, and the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Štefan Fuele will hold a joint press conference.
