In Europe and the USA, 178 individuals have been arrested on suspicion of credit card forgery, causing damages of 20 million euros. The investigation, which was initiated in Spain and lasted for two years, involved police from 14 countries.
Police from 14 countries participated in the two-year investigation that was launched in Spain. Authorities uncovered 120,000 stolen credit card numbers and 5,000 cloned cards. Searches were conducted in Romania, France, Italy, Germany, Ireland, and the USA, and arrests were also made in Australia, Sweden, Greece, Finland, and Hungary.
