At the annual Apple World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco, the new redesigned iPhone was introduced.
The new device features a metal casing, a stronger display resolution, a VGA camera on the front and an HD camera on the back, a stronger battery, is less rounded, and is a quarter thinner than the previous model. The new front camera will enable video calls when connected to a Wi-Fi network. The new 12.7 cm display has a resolution of 960-640. In addition to recording HD video, film editing will also be possible. The iPhone 4 will be available in two models. The version with 16 gigabytes of storage will cost $199, while the version with 32 gigabytes will cost $299. The device will be released for sale in the U.S. and four other countries on June 24, and will be available in another 18 countries in July. (www.hrt.hr)
