The Commercial Court today refused to register changes to the Assembly, Management, and Supervisory Board of Zagrebački Holding in the court register, confirmed several judges from that court for the portal Zagrebancija.com.
Unofficially, it is learned that the Court decided that the Statute of the City of Zagreb and the Conclusion of the City Assembly were not in accordance. Zagrebancija further learns that the lawyers of the Holding, together with a public notary, went to collect all the papers and decisions at the Commercial Court. With this decision, Milan Bandić remains the only member of the Holding’s Assembly, thus receiving great satisfaction. Let us recall that Bandić has consistently contested the decision of the City Assembly of Zagreb, as well as that of the Constitutional Court. The Constitutional Court unanimously ruled on March 17 that representative bodies of local self-government units have the right to appoint representatives in commercial companies. Milan Bandić also contested this, claiming that ‘the Parliament must explain what the Constitutional Court meant when it resolved the request based on the example of Beli Manastir and how it interpreted the Law there.’ At the same time as winning the dispute with the Assembly, Milan Bandić began to withdraw revenues from Zagrebački Holding by taking away the revenues that he had enabled them a year and a half ago and transferring them to the City.
