The bankruptcy of Vemil, or Informatike Vrbani, as the company is now called, is likely to be opened in two weeks.
This was confirmed to us by the temporary bankruptcy trustee Miron Markičević, stating that the requirements for opening bankruptcy have been met. Unlike the previous attempt to open bankruptcy, when the applicant for bankruptcy changed their mind, this time it should not happen as the company’s Management itself has submitted the bankruptcy request. The question, however, is whether and to what extent creditors will be able to recover from the bankruptcy estate, as Vemil’s owner Verica Rešković recently opened a new company Unusmedija and transferred Vemil’s business to it.
