An indictment has been raised against the Rijeka company Cammeo and a member of its management, Lile Minovski, for abuse of power in economic operations, writes novilist.hr
During the past year, suspicions of malfeasance reached the investigation following a criminal report that has been unfolding in the Investigative Center of the County Court in Rijeka until now. After an extensive investigation, accounting expertise, and witness testimonies, suspicions regarding the proper operation of the Rijeka taxi carrier were confirmed by the indictment against the management member and the company itself. In addition to abuse of power in economic operations, the indictment also accuses them of violating the obligation to maintain commercial and business records. The results of the financial-accounting expertise of disputed transactions and business records from 2006 to 2008, requested by the investigating judge, confirmed suspicions that the state budget was damaged by 568 thousand kuna.
Suspicion regarding proper operations was also presented in a special report by the Department of Economic Crime of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar Police, based on the record of the inspection supervision by the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Administration. From the record of the Tax Administration, or the extract from the Commercial Court register, it is evident that Lile Minovski is a member of the management and the person responsible in the company Cammeo for recording operations and maintaining accounting documentation as well as submitting tax returns and other contributions to budgets and funds.
