The cro.ict Academy, aimed at better understanding the principles of core activities, improving management processes, and increasing efficiency in IT companies, will commence tomorrow with a professional workshop for Dalmatian IT companies, specifically for the regional ICT cluster Disc in Split, initiated by the Association of Croatian ICT Associations-cro.ict.
Presenting the academy and the goals of the Association established in Rijeka in 2007, its president Boris Krstanović emphasized at today’s press conference at the Central State Office for e-Croatia in Zagreb the desire to bring the best global practices closer to Croatian IT professionals and entrepreneurs. This is expected to enhance the competitiveness of their companies in the European and global markets. Both he and the head of the cro.ict Academy, Mario Jerončić from Split, highlighted its non-commercial nature as no supplier will be specifically advertised, while companies will pay 500 kuna for two participants for full-day lectures. Jerončić also stated that the academy will actually be a collection of lectures on current topics in the profession and entrepreneurship, which proven IT experts from practice will present in the form of daily workshops to IT specialists, entrepreneurs, IT company managers, and others.
