Damir Polančec, the primary suspect in the investigation against him related to HEP’s sale and supply of electricity to Šibenik’s TLM and Mostar’s Aluminij, was today ordered by investigating judge Jadranka Mandušič to be held in investigative detention for one month due to the risk of influencing witnesses.
At the same time, his investigative detention in the case related to the manipulation of Podravka shares was lifted as all witnesses have been examined. The defense has the right to appeal this decision within three days, and the appellate council of the County Court in Zagreb will decide on it. (www.vecernji.hr)
