In Croatia, a total of 87.4 million postal services were recorded in the first three months of this year, which is 8.5 percent less than in the same months last year, according to data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
The majority of postal services, or 82.4 million, relate to those received in domestic traffic, marking a decrease of 9.1 percent compared to the first quarter of last year. In international traffic, however, there was a 5.5 percent increase in these services, or 2.02 million, while 2.9 million were received from abroad, which is 1.7 percent more. The total number of parcel services in the first three months of this year, or 1.92 million, is 9.1 percent less than in last year’s first quarter. The largest portion of these services, or 1.86 million, was received in domestic traffic, representing a decrease of 9.5 percent. (H)
