Today, Vipnet presented the world’s first mobile hotspot device for wireless internet connection, which is already available at Vipnet’s sales locations.
This is a modem or router the size of a mobile phone that has a designated slot for a SIM card, and through it, up to five devices such as laptops, smartphones, and cameras can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi support. The device is manufactured by Huawei and operates quite simply. After the user inserts a SIM card into the mobile phone-sized modem, it is necessary to press the button to connect to the internet, and then the device connects to Vipnet’s wireless internet network. After connecting, the device begins to emit a wireless Wi-Fi signal, allowing up to five devices with wireless internet support to connect within a range of up to 30 meters, enabling their users to start surfing. At Vipnet, says Marketing and Sales Director Reinhard Zuba, they are proud that their telecommunications company is the first in the world to offer such a service.

It should also be noted that users have recognized the advantages offered by the fastest and most secure wireless network in Croatia, and I am confident that they will embrace the benefits brought by the new Wi-Fi device – said Zuba. The installation of the modem is also simple, and the user of the mobile router device just needs to store it in their jacket pocket or bag while having constant access to the internet.
