Escape to parallel worlds is the fundamental idea that runs through the fourth issue of the lifestyle magazine Lider Trend from May 14. Due to numerous crises, both personal and social, the average reader increasingly tries to escape from everyday life, even if only temporarily, by sinking into armchairs, letting a movie or book guide them, embarking on some attractive journey, and behaving as if there is something better than the current reality.
After the open topic dedicated to this social trend of escapism, you can read an interview with Olinka Vištica, co-owner of the company Hulahop, organizer of Animafest, and project leader of the Museum of Broken Relationships, who claims she has learned to live her dreams. Of course, part of the issue is also dedicated to the beauty fashion industry, as the editor of that section, Jelena Gotovac, writes about new trends in clothing and reveals how cosmetic brands increasingly choose actresses rather than models as their faces simply because they want to associate their products with individuals whose personalities are already known to their customers.
