The Bosnian-Herzegovinian airline company BH Airlines will establish regular flights from Sarajevo to Zagreb and Belgrade during May, announced from the company’s headquarters.
BH Airlines’ aircraft will start flying to Belgrade daily from May 17, while traffic to Zagreb is expected to commence from May 20. Regular air connections on these routes are already maintained by Croatia Airlines and JAT, but BH Airlines announces that it will offer its passengers more favorable prices similar to those offered by low-cost airlines. It has been announced that airline tickets on the Sarajevo-Zagreb route will be available for as low as 29 euros, excluding airport fees. BH Airlines’ aircraft will fly to Zagreb in the evening, while flights from Zagreb to Sarajevo will be early in the morning. Croatia Airlines has not had flights to Sarajevo during these times until now. BH Airlines is a company whose majority owner is the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but Turkish Airlines has become a strategic partner two years ago, acquiring a 49 percent ownership stake. Since then, BH Airlines has begun to expand its network of destinations connected to Sarajevo, and this year it has entered into a partnership with the American United, with which it operates flights to the USA via Zurich.
