Zagreb Bank, a member of the UniCredit Group, has once again been named the best bank in Croatia for 2009, and this time the award was received from the international magazine Emeafinance, according to a statement.
Among other members of the UniCredit Group in Central and Eastern Europe, the title of best bank was awarded to; Bulbank in Bulgaria, the award for best foreign bank in Poland – Bank Pekao, and the best Polish investment bank – UniCredit CAIB Poland. The award received by Zagreb Bank is an additional international recognition for its successful operations and maintenance of the top position in the highly competitive Croatian banking market. With its stability and total capital, it is able to provide full support to the public and private sectors and this year continues to finance various development projects and client needs, enhancing the quality of products and services with the expertise and high professionalism of its employees, the statement from Zaba reads.
