The General Assembly of the food industry Kraš, convened for June 26, will decide on the payment of a dividend to shareholders of 20 kuna per share from retained earnings from 2007 and 2008, as well as on the distribution of profits earned in 2009, according to Kraš’s announcement on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The proposed dividend of 20 kuna per share will be paid to shareholders who are registered in the Central Clearing and Depository Company (SKDD) seven days prior to the General Assembly. If the Assembly decides on this payment, Kraš shareholders will receive the dividend no later than August 24 of this year. The Assembly will also decide on the distribution of shares in profits amounting to 6.7 million kuna to be paid from the accumulated retained earnings from previous years, by allocating Kraš’s own shares proportionate to the achievement of the business plan, based on the Management’s decision.
The profit achieved by Kraš in the business year 2009 of 35.16 million kuna would be distributed, if the Assembly decides so, into two parts: 1.75 million kuna for legal reserves, and the larger part of 33.4 million kuna into retained earnings. The Management and Supervisory Board of Kraš propose to the Assembly the adoption of a decision on the acquisition of its own shares with the limitation that the maximum total number of purchased own shares amounts to up to 10 percent of the share capital. The Assembly will also decide on the amendment of the Statute and the addition of Kraš’s activities. (H)
