The company Ingra reported today via the Zagreb Stock Exchange that the Iraqi Ministry of Industry has approved a contract worth 4.2 million euros under which Ingra will carry out rehabilitation work on steam turbines at the phosphate plant in the Iraqi city of Al Qaim.
The rehabilitation of the steam turbines includes the procurement and delivery of equipment, while the larger part of the contract relates to engineering and specific expertise that Ingra’s specialists will utilize on this project. The start of work is planned for June and is expected to last seven months, the report states. Ingra expects more good news regarding the conclusion of new contracts in the markets of Iraq and the Middle East. Ingra has been operating in Iraq since 1964 and is one of the few companies that has not closed its representative office even during the most intense conflicts. (novilist.hr)
